How it works#

How it is different#
Data science is focused on asking new questions and predicting future outcomes using advanced statistical models. It differs from traditional Business Intelligence (BI), which typically uses historical data to report on what has already happened (e.g., creating a dashboard of last quarter's sales). While BI answers "What happened?", data science answers "Why did it happen?" and "What is likely to happen next?".
