This is Waves of Innovation by re:cinq.
This isn’t just a podcast or newsletter.
It’s a community built to make you stop, reflect, and ask harder questions about how you work, and where you’re going.
So, what is Waves of Innovation?
The idea is simple:
Every few years, a new wave of technology reshapes the way we build and run software.
Some teams ride those waves with clarity. Most don’t.
We’ve seen this before, Kubernetes, DevOps, microservices. The patterns repeat.
Now it’s happening again, but faster.
This time, the wave is called AI Native.
And no one really knows how to do it right, yet.
Why we’re doing this
We’ve spent the last decade helping companies go Cloud Native.
We’ve seen what works, what burns out teams, and why most companies get stuck halfway through transformation.
We’re starting Waves of Innovation by re:cinq because this next shift, from Cloud Native to AI Native, is going to be even harder to get right.
And yet, the pressure to move fast is stronger than ever.
This newsletter (and now podcast, with a lot more coming soon) is where we reflect on that shift.
Not from a place of hype. Not from a place of theory.
But from what we’ve actually seen work inside companies.
Who this is for
This space is for the builders, the leads, the managers who’ve had to hold things together during past tech shifts, and are now expected to “figure out AI” on top of everything else.
It’s for people navigating unclear org structures, legacy architecture, siloed teams, shallow AI adoption, unclear value, and pressure to act fast.
It’s for anyone trying to turn transformation from a buzzword into something real.
What we want this to be
We’re not interested in broadcasting.
We’re building a community of people who want to think clearly, act responsibly, and help shape what this next wave looks like, together.
